Cultural Pitfalls in Islamic Subtitling

This research explores the challenges of translating cultural references in Islamic TV programs from Arabic into English. Subtitling is a constrained type translation due to space and time limitations on screen. Apart this challenge, subtitler has deal with pitfalls that cannot be separated stormy global background includes political ideological tensions between Muslim World West. study investigates these difficulties, attempts suggest solutions them identify basic qualifications competent subtitlers kind programs.
